JV Head Coach Jason Ayers. Coach Ayers played football at JF from 2011-2014 where his favorite memory was going undefeated in the regular season during his senior year. His advice to current and future Cavaliers is to, "Buy into what the coaches tell you to do, and work hard in the weight room." Since graduating from JF he has graduated from Liberty University in 2019 and currently teaches Personal Fitness at JF. Assistant JV Coach Robert Gammon. Coach Gammon played for JF from 1985-1988. His favorite memory is a pick 6 against Nelson County to secure the victory. His advice to the current JF football team is, "Football is like life, what you put is generally what you get out. So, work hard every day and good things will happen. On the football field and off." Since high school, Coach Gammon has been to college, participated in power lifting, gotten married, sales management, Church, and coaching football at JF.
Assistant JV coach Ta’Calyen Hurt. T played football at JF from 2014-2018. His favorite memory was, "just being able to play the sport I love with the guys I grew up with." His advice to current and future JF Football players would be, "Believe in yourself before someone believes in you, focus on your strengths, set achievable goals, and embrace setbacks as learning opportunities." Since graduation, T has started a career in Personal Training and Coaching Football/Track at Jefferson Forest High School.
Jacob Carroll! Jacob played football at JF from 2015-2019. His favorite football memory was the offseason training in the summer and being on the field with everyone. His advice to the current JF football players is, "my advice to all players is to keep up the grind and make history. I have been blessed to be able to watch a few of the football games this year and I see something special with this group of student athletes. Keep listening to your coaches, do your job and keep on grinding! All of us alumni stand by your side and are cheering you on." Since high school, Jacob has graduated from Ferrum College with a Bachelor's degree in Science. He is currently enrolled at Virginia Wesleyan University completing his MBA and playing a 5th year of college lacrosse.
Lucas Pribble! Lucas played for the Cavaliers from 2010-2013. His favorite memory was beating Brookville his senior year. His advice to current JF football players is, "Trust God and never stop fighting." Since he has graduated high school Lucas has become a Football Strength and Conditioning Coach!
Malik Stewart! Malik played at JF from 2012-2015. His favorite high school memory was going undefeated in 2014. His advice to current JF players would be, "Train every chance you get and take it serious." Since high school, Malik has started 2 successful businesses and joined the military.
#ThrowbackThursday is back with Damon Trent! Damon played at JF from 1990-1993. His favorite high school memory was winning the 1993 State Championship. His advice to the current team would be, "enjoy every moment because you only get the opportunity to play high school football once." Since high school, he has served in the US Navy, attended college, and started a new business!
This weeks #ThrowbackThursday is Nathan Pribble! Nathan played at JF from 2015-2018. His favorite memory was beating Salem in the first round of the playoffs at Salem his senior year. His advice to the current team would be, "Never give up, keep pushing forward." Since high school, he has won championships in motorcross, recently engaged, and is currently working on his Business Project Management degree at Liberty University

His advice to the current team is, "Don't take any moment on the field for granted good or bad." Since high school, he has started coaching b-team football at Brookville with his dad.
