The football program would like to recognize Ms. Witt for teacher appreciation this week! Ms. Witt was nominated by Slade Keesee. He appreciates her because she puts in so much work to help us understand the subject. She goes the extra mile and comes in early to help students who need extra help and makes sure everyone understands what we are learning. My most memorable moment is being in class with Ms Witt and my friends. She had to put up with us for those two years and was an amazing teacher. Ms Witt also is a huge supporter of the athletics at JF. She came to every single one of my home games whether it be football or basketball. Slade states,” Thank you for all you have done for me. For all the early extra helps and times where I may not have understood something, you always made sure it clicked. Thank you for supporting me in all of my sporting events whether it be on the field or on the court.”

The football program would like to recognize Ms. Candler for teacher appreciation this week! Ms. Candler was nominated by Charleston Harris. He appreciates her because she always made sure that he understood what was going on even with his busy sports schedule and found time to help him out. She made English very enjoyable and he truly appreciates her constant encouragement and support through school and sports. His most memorable moment with Ms Candler is when she always used the term “rigor raiser”. She preached the quote to my class but it stood out to me for the sole meaning of it standing for “always go above and beyond no matter the situation” which I applied to sports and school. Charleston states, “I am very thankful for her taking the time to help me with English and things that I can use in life.”
